LSRP's current stance

We've witnessed a lot of changes since the re-opening of the server and a lot of us can agree it's not the same LSRP before the closure in 2020/2021. We've been seeing a bunch of ethugs constantly initiating brawls, mindlessly stealing cars, and provoking people like it's some freeroam server. I know a lot of the ex LSRP OGs who refuse to come back because of the server's current vague roleplay quality. How do you think we can fix this?

The server is not confined to the Idlewood area, and certainly no one is forced to roleplay with people who do not know the ABCs of roleplay. The server was only opened a week ago -- let's give the staff some time to figure out how to work things out, and please let's not come to any hasty conclusions or snap judgments.

I do understand what you're saying and I do agree to some degree. My guess is that there are new players not understanding the concept of what heavy roleplay is.

I've seen alot of level ones NJ'ing and most likely freeroaming, almost like they tryna min-max without knowing how to do so. I try to stay away from Idlestacks, it helps trust me.

Also, the OG's should comeback and show the new players how to actually roleplay and inspire them to follow their footsteps. They might even fall in love with the game like we did.

And creds to all the admins kicking and banning all trolls.

I don't think the "ex-LSRP OGs" ever cared about Idlewood roleplay. On the other hand, I see them coming back in droves and roleplaying elsewhere.

A good throwback if anything. I think it will get boring pretty quick after people remind themselves of this game and the nostalgia ends. Everything is played out to the ground. Though having this type of motion on GTA V would be amazing!

I will always prefer SAMP. Rage servers are glorified ERP platforms, they play like Second Life.

Idlewood always been the chaotic area, even back in 09-10. It doesn't really get to you unless you're getting involved.

It’s simple to stay away from Idlewood areas, I do myself, just to avoid putting myself in such a stupid and ridiculous situation.

Staff are overcharged with internal stuff too, such as maintaining the server’s online status but still, they do enforce any behavior that’s against the rules, though people don’t learn, don’t they?

I just want to see people doing passive and random scenarios, instead of making up interactions that are always about arresting others and such, for instance I’m an officer and all my calls are about brawls and shootouts, I’d like to see more people calling about other things like traffic collisions and disturbances, welfare checks, public intoxication, something that’s out of the general ordinary, which gives some taste to my immersion and gets me out of the routine RPs.

Another point is the unrealistic silly driving, people are flying past anyone hauling 100 in any zone, even past law enforcement, as far as I remember; there was a thing about ajailing players for GTA:O driving back in RAGE, think we could get a use of that in SAMP too, some players are extremely unrealistic with their driving in here.
