  2. Since I have something on my mind, if you want, send here all your unedited LSRP clips! The best ones will be chosen for the creation of a video.

    • If the chat is not visible, it's better ( if it's visible it's ok tho )
    • You can upload the videos on YouTube and post them in response to this thread.
    • There is no limit to the videos you can post. The more you post, the better.

    I need more reactions ... " ❤️"

That's cleaner than I envisioned, especially with those icons - nice, I like it a lot!

The only nit-picky things I would change is the height format. Maybe a dash instead of a period [5-9ft], or a separation of ft/in. Also, just to save spacing, I would change the weight by removing the word "Approximately" and replacing it with a "~". Even as it is though, it's awesome!

Are you planning to do a mockup of the selection UI as well?

gonna do the changes asap and yeah, I’ll create an UI for the selection too

It’s a pretty neat feature, similar to the one that GTA San Andreas singleplayer has. I also think the food truck idea is great, but I think just being able to stand inside the van (like an open interior) and hand out food from your inventory to others is a good alternative. Now, whether that or scripting a /buy feature is easier - I don’t know, but this could definitely be useful.

Thanks for your answer livid. Would be cool to have the possibility to stand inside the van and hand out food.

  5. Yeah, this is a must have or we have to make the minigame more difficult cause at the Moment if you enter a building and leave your car outside in a zone like Davis, you can be sure that once you get out you won’t find Your vehicle anymore ( and obviously you won’t find Your Weapons inside it anymore )

A wonderful suggestion that I agree with all around. I really hope this could be implemented in the game, but something tells me that that’s a bit too difficult. Also, for the phone call signal part, I’d rather there’s a delay and a coherent message than a cut out version of the original one. Seems easier to pull off and would make more sense.

Thanks livid for your answer. Actually I think that our development team would be able to create a system like this one, it shouldn’t be a problem.

About the call Part.. well.. actually the delay is something that happens if you use internet for Your call and you’re in a Low Signal Zone ( for example you’re in a Discord Call as you drive Your Car IRL and you go through a tunnel ). When you call someone through the “default” phone call and you’re in a Low Signal Zone, the recipient receives Your voice immediately, but can’t understand what you’re saying due to the low Signal.

I can't believe how crazy detailed you get with the suggestions.

But I do agree that phone signals should be different in whole San Andreas. Tracing like that would be pretty great addition as well, I would like to see that being possible for illegal ones too, like bugging a phone with tracer.

Thanks Cale and yeah, yours is not a bad idea too. It would be cool to see something like that for the illegal side too ❤️

  7. As far as I can remember, on SAMP LSRP this was a thing. It would be cool to have Towers and Repeaters that based on the distance from them can strengthen the signal.

    How should this system work?

It's pretty easy. There should be a few signal towers scattered all over San Andreas and based on the distance to the towers, the signal should change.

You should be able to see the Signal Icon on your phone and the icon should change based on the distance from the tower.

How should this system affect the communication?

    Strongest Signal

Mikee Test ( phone ) says: Hello there, how are you doing buds?

When you send a SMS, it should arrive immediately to the recipient.

    Strong Signal

Mikee Test ( phone ) says: Hello there, how are you doing buds?
When you send a SMS, it should arrive with a little delay ( 5 - 10 seconds ) And you should be notified about the fact that the SMS might have a delay due to the signal. Same thing happens if someone is in a Strong ( or Strongest ) signal Zone. You'll receive the SMS with a delay.

    Low Signal

     Mikee Test ( phone ) says: Hel.. th..e, ho.. a.. ..u do..ng bu..s?
When you send a SMS, it should arrive with a little delay ( 25 - 40 seconds ) And you should be notified about the fact that the SMS might have a delay due to the signal. Same thing happens if someone is in a Strong ( or Strongest ) signal Zone. You'll receive the SMS with a delay.

    No Signal

When you try to call, the call ends without even getting the call to the recipient.
When you send a SMS, it shouldn't arrive until you move to at least a Low Signal zone. Obviously you should be notified about the fact that the SMS might have a delay due to the signal. Same thing happens if someone is in a Strong ( or Strongest ) signal Zone. You'll receive the SMS with a delay.

New Possibilities for Law Enforcement Officers

As you can see through our #git discord channel, in the next update, you'll have the possibility to Turn Off / On your phone. This thing can bring several great scenarios. I think that with the addition of the Signal System too, it would be awesome.

What do you mean with "New possibilities for Law Enforcement Officers"? Well, actually, Police Officers ( LSPD and LSSD ) should be able to track your phone through the Mobile Data Computer in order to have your position, but this thing too will be based on the signal. The stronger the signal, the more precise the localization by the MDC will be. Of course, if there is no signal ( or you will have turned off your phone ), you will not be able to be tracked.

*** Please Note: Until there is an option to dispose of one's cell phone and purchase a new cell phone with a different number, this system should be used under the consent of an administrator ( and online administrators should be notified when it is used ). In this way we would certainly go to avoid abuse.

So once you open the MDC and type the number of the person you want to track, this is what you'll see based on the signal:

    No Signal:

    b970f4520f48cd1e7d57339f92746da9.png

As you can see there is no location and you won't be tracked if you turn your phone off or you stay in a No-Signal Zone.

    Low Signal:

    e85f405cc3b8fc375284f0805ef46917.png

If there is Low Signal you will be tracked, but the output will be a big circle, so LEOs will have to search into a large zone before they find you.

    Strong Signal:

    b0a8712314bd926de6a2d034bc3ff1cc.png

If the Signal is strong, the circle will be smaller and LEOs will have to search into a smaller zone in order to find you.

    Strongest Signal:

    2be1ebc78bfc47d48b4e64f7f5be6292.png

If your Signal is the strongest possible, the circle will be even smaller and precise and they'll have more possibilities to find you.

Obviously in order to not make this System OP for LEOs, it should only track your phone for 10 seconds ( and the circle should follow you on the map for ten seconds ). Once the time finishes ( or you turn your phone off or move to a No Signal Zone ), they should see something like this:

    ef89b71a7fc5ad7b11426dca94dc5d4c.png

Obviously if you have a strong signal while they're tracking you and you move to a low signal zone, the circle should enlarge and be less precise.
