Hi everyone, With October over, and Halloween finally wrapped up, we have no doubt that within a blink of an eye it will soon be the "C" word (Christmas) and we're already preparing for our festive activities. The most notable event of the month was the Halloween event which was put together at the Dirty Lake and attended by our players. Without further ado, here's our October Community Update: Development Team With the upcoming re-launch of the RageMP server, we want to reiterate our commitment to SA-MP, we have a dedicated team of developers that span both universes and that isn't going to change. Since the last major game update to 14.0, the development team has been hard at work pushing out incremental updates with a bunch of new features, fixes and quality of life improvements. These are always announced on Discord in #game-changelog, but sometimes people miss these, so here's a round up of some of the key changes: - Adds the possibility to burn corpses - Adds messages when you take damage (it can be disabled with: /togdamage) - Adds /sendlocation, send your location to your phone contacts - Adds Romano Pizza mapping in Market - Adds Carson Haul and Wrench company mapping in Fort Carson - Adds "Platinum Cars" mapping in Santa Maria - Adds black coffee, clipboard, popcorn, white coffee custom objects to /hold - Adds 2 red solo cup variants and 8 vape variants to /hold - Adds fireworks - Adds furnishing to business employee powers, grant employees /furniture access - Adds /togglesafezone, business and some select property owners can choose if their business/property is a safezone - Adds /pmd (Prevent My Death) - if you're under 15 health, you can use it to go to 15 hp to prevent death from SAMP physics - Adds quick search to /samaps command without dialog e.g. /samaps 2478 Ganton Bl - Fixes an issue with non-packaged vehicle weapons disappearing - Fixes vehicle weapons turning in to Fists - Fixes an issue with talking animations - Fixes taxi fares calculating incorrectly I know a lot of people are eagerly awaiting more information on the upcoming re-launch of the RageMP server; as much as we’d love to share details with you, we don’t want to give a date and then let people down if we can’t meet it for whatever reason - although internally we're right on track, working away in the background. We’re actively working on RageMP and it’s coming soonTM, we just want to ensure we have an experience worthy of the wait that people are expecting. As soon as we’re in a position we’re happy with, the community will be the first to know. It’s something we’re actively working on and we'll have a separate blog post when we're ready to share. Illegal Faction Team The Illegal Faction Council would like to begin by congratulating the servers newest official faction candidates, Black Organised Crime! The Illegal Faction Team as a whole has thoroughly enjoyed watching this faction grow since it first opened in July. We're excited to work together with B.O.C and see what the future holds! The Illegal Faction Team also recently ran a furnishing competition which has now been concluded for the month of October, and is now in it's final voting stage. Members of the Illegal Faction Team were tasked with reviewing factors like originality, attention to detail and practicality. Keep your eyes peeled for the Illegal Faction Team's monthly newsletter next week for further updates! Over the course of this month we've been discussing how we want schemes to unfold come RAGE's relaunch. These are some extremely important fundamentals that we need to have in place to ensure we, as the Illegal Faction Team give the most amount of roleplay opportunities to illegal factions and players. We've been involved in discussions on drugs and how they're going to work and play out, weapons and pricings for the weapons. We have applications open for the Illegal Faction Team and are looking to fill numerous available spots. If you're interested in helping out with discussions with either Rage or SAMP, we have plenty of open discussions and definitely want your input. If being apart of this team interests you, please do not hesitate to read through the following post and send the Illegal Faction Council your letters of interest. With the holidays coming we understand that factions and players have less and less time to commit to the game, but if you have any ideas or questions that could potentially help your faction or the server in general that us as the Illegal Faction Team could handle, please do not hesitate to reach out to @Aloosh, @Rye or @unlawfulact with your queries. OOC INFORMATION: This faction is a continuation of Houssine Ait Soussan & Associates, carrying forward the same focus on authentic Moroccan-Dutch organized crime roleplay. Characters with a Dutch-Moroccan or North African background would very much be preferred. On some occasions, personal talk might drift into some Darija or Dutch slang-a little something to keep it real. This faction is invite-only. We do not recruit through OOC approaches, nor do we hand out ranks on request. If you’re interested, you must find your way in character and prove yourself through your roleplay. Upon invitation to join the faction, you will be asked CK permissions of your character. This is non-negotiable. Posting screenshots without permission is strictly forbidden and will be removed. Roleplay Summary — It was early in the morning, and Gabriel’s first thought was about the party that night. He went through his morning routine quickly, then jumped in his car to grab beer and food for the event. Once the party started, a lot of people showed up out of respect. Everything was going smooth until a rival gang pulled up — but everyone reacted fast and took care of the situation before it got out of hand.

Roleplay Summary — It's late at night and Melanie planned to smoke before bed, but the munchies took over and delayed her from going to sleep. Luckily a local spot called La Taqueria is still open for a little while. She quickly gets dressed and steps out, choosing not to take the main road since there are rumors about 38ST getting into it with a rival gang. She would rather not walk into anything by accident, even though she isn’t involved. Gangway / Local Food / Abuela’s Protection. Murals / The Daughters of Aztlán. Next Day / Leño Smoking. Being Pressured / Going Back Home.

Shout-out to Harold "Hong Kong" Tsang, and to his quality RolePlay! @SammyG Trey gets more and more ideas on how to get and obtain more melees, not only some bats lookalikes or crowbars but even Metallic Knuckles A/K/A Dusters. Trey looks for opportunities non-stop, he doesn't make anything hold him back from going on further and different routes Time after time, failure after the other and Trey finally gets it. He now has set a specific known and trusted long-lasting way to make his own Dusters. Not too long after Trey took his Infiniti for a little downtown ride, he came across Mullholand's Trusted Pawn & Loan. Trey took the chance of finding a place opened only to get inside and entertain himself instead of the quiet nighttime. And what made Trey realise that this place isn't just an ordinary shop but a real treasure if he used it the right way was, seeing what's inside from simple raw hand working tools to several everyday workshop components & complicated tools. Trey takes his time searching, examining and scanning all of the left tools and parts around the store. The duo at the register would leave not too long after, Trey turns around and focuses on the task at hand. Slowly the duo realises how much they might need each other and how far they can help each other as well, making the duo ... ... meet on the same lands as well. What could ever bring two characters like Harold, an Asian hard working man ... ... & Trey an eighteen years old gang-banger? Business. Trey goes back to his garage, places down most of the stuff he just brought back. He was seen going to his house not before dawn.
