  3. Drug dealing/trafficking Guide for STREET GANGS Drug dealing and trafficking is one of the most popular things to get involved in when you're doing gang roleplay, but the issue begins at this specific point where people force people into drug dealing to prove themselves and treat their gang factions like its an entire Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO) which is somewhat unrealistic in that sense as not everyone involved in gang politics in Los Angeles are also involved in the drug game. In fact you'd be quite surprised, a lot people want to stay away from the drug game due to the bullshit it brings with it and instead a lot of gang members resort to fraud, robberies, burglaries, etc. Now, there's a difference, in what I said as well... people normally stay away from large scaled drug ops in gangs but a pretty hefty number of people probably deal drugs on low scales such as dimebags, eighths, halves, etc. Main issue is when it comes to selling bricks and stuff, and since LS-RP has always worked with ounces; we'll use 3 or more ounces as a starter point for this then. Normally when people get involved in drugs inside of street gangs, it's selling petty amounts but deep inside normally lies a secondary foundation of big time drug dealers and trafficking (depending on the connections) within that gang. The reason I'm emphasizing this is important, because the moment you're brought into that side of the drug game a simple fuck up can land you six feet deep. Street gangs are already cutthroat to the bone as it already is, but when you involve yourself with big time drug dealers and potentially traffickers within your set then you're accepting an offer from the devil in plain sight. The reason I'm bringing this up, is because a lot of people who do large scaled drug ops inside of street gangs, tend to act like it's either the entire street gang doing it and operate like a full DTO or they ignore the realistic tensions that'd come with it. It's normally a clique inside of a gang with very few people that actually 100% know what's going on when it comes to large drug ops inside of gangs, because of how cutthroat it is and the lack of trust for people. The petty drug amounts that little homies are trapping with, probably come from big homies involved deep in the drug game and it's normally the best drug dealers that sell petty amounts that normally end up being brought inside of the gang's inner circle when it comes down to large scaled drug ops. Now I do want to say this, the drug game inside of street gangs is completely different to actual DTOs or OCGs, and tends to be a lot more grimey. Depending on if it's a Southsider gang or a African-American gang, there might not be any structure inside of the gang and the one with connections to the plugs might be the one that's "influential" at that specific time n place. This is important to remember, because if your gang has no structure and goes off of a generation structure instead of a hierarchy structure, then you could even roleplay having paranoia and trust issues with people because people can get knocked off over a female or some shit in gangs, so when it comes down to drugs it's twice if not thrice as bad as the before example. This guide might not look like your average guide, and might remind you of a mini book or something but I purposely wrote it like this so it's easier to take in everything at once. 4. Hi. I've got a suggestion regarding the Port of LS. It'll would be easy to make the port a central aspect of the server in terms of functionality and roleplaying ability. Everything IC that is material (clothes, cars, weapons, drugs etc.) should have to go through the port. We've got the capabilities and experience from the development team to stop stuff just 'appearing' in game! Take for example: If 'Grotti Dealership' wants 5x generic Exotic Car, then it is ordered by the business (manually done by an employee!), delivered at the port in 12/24/48 hours (depending on item rarity) and then they have to wait for someone who has an appropriate vehicle and license to deliver that from the port. The port can be instrumental when you start making it a privilege to have access to such place. Truckers need to apply to the Port of LA for authority to enter the port and transport goods. For example, have three types of licenses/authority that are dependant on the goods received / transporting and vehicle being driven. LVGT License - Low Value Good Transport - access to goods that are less than $10000 (such as supermarket stock, clothes, cosmetics) MVGT License - Medium Value Goods Transport - access to goods that are less than $75000 (low-value cars, electronics, white-goods, building materials) HVGT License - High Value Transport - access to good that are more than $75000 (high-value cars, specialist items, legal firearms) Each license comes with a list of vehicles..for example: LVGT won't have a vehicle transporter, or a massive truck. It'll be the Bobcat equivalent and doesn't really support too much illegal activity. MVGT would have larger vehicles which allows for more stock, and allows for more chances to have illegal items alongside legal items in the truck. HVGT wouldn't have any restrictions, allows for mass amounts of legal stock and illegal stock to be done. From this, all levels of authority can perform illegal RP, but you aren't going to get a LGTV carrying around 250k worth of weapons. This would push people to get more involved with the port, apply for higher licenses in the legal aspect and make criminal enterprises value the use of the port and make LSSD/LSPD patrol the port more often looking for things that are a bit suspicious. Real life criminals are clever, under the radar and aren't blatantly obvious! Another feature of this is that each license, whilst applied for with the Port of LS would need to pass a script-wise driving test, a LVGT test would be driving around with a bobcat, the next a heavier vehicle and the final would be a vehicle transporter, or large flatbeds / trailers attached. Let me know what you think!

  12. Cops roleplaying actual characters and not the usual robocops only going on-duty to perform traffics stops and participating in shootouts.

  13. More roleplay and less shootings, and ego. Police from time to time can give chances to those who committed their first crime, to cut loose before deciding to ruin someone's life. Unless it's not serious of course. It has to be improved by not being a robocop as it was defined on SA-MP, I give my hopes that everyone will be able to encounter with PD properly.

  15. I'd like to see lsrp's gang culture recreated on rage mostly. Gtaworld had a good opportunity and failed to replicate it. There's barely any gang presence on the streets, the world feels sparse and apocalyptic, instead they focused more on donator features and a fake dating app

  16. Leadership team welcoming constructive criticism rather than labeling it as slandering the faction. In the past, I myself have tried giving criticism which resulted in being pointed at as a problem starter and toxic. The leadership team needs to be open to taking suggestions and advice from both it's subordinates and those outside of the faction. There's nothing wrong with not understanding how to resolve every problem as a leader. It takes a good leader to listen and resolve the issue(s) in a way that benefits everyone. Also, the leadership team should try to voice their own individual opinions rather than just agree with what other members of top brass think. We don't need yes men.
