lmao actually reading ( studying ) a 2000 pages manual: private law manual

Tell me about it. Reading my 2800 Historea Legum et Antiquitates Juris book (History of Law), 1700 Criminal Procedure Law, and 2300 pages Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure books right now >.< Law students struggles.

I have read more than 400 books so far and I have my own little library. History, psychoanalytic, thrillers, anything legal related etc.

I just finished the first of the Mistborn series and I loved it. I'm finding the start of the second book a bit too combat-heavy though (I have trouble keeping up with it) so might just skip some bits to get back to the actual story.

The Great Gatsby

Amazing read. The movie wasn't a let down either.

2021

The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini)
A Thousand Splendid Suns (Khaled Hosseini)
And The Mountains Echoed (Khaled Hosseini)
Normal People (Sally Rooney)
12 Rules for Life (Jordan B. Peterson)
Where the Crawdads sing (Delia Owens)
This is going to hurt (Adam Kay)

2022 (currently reading)

Violets Bent Backwards Over The Grass (Lana Del Rey)
The Bell Jar (Sylvia Plath)
Zodiac: The Shocking True Story of the Hunt for the Nation's Most Elusive Serial Killer (Robert Graysmith)

I'd welcome some recommendations to read this year.

There's 28 in the entire series so I'm slowly making my way through
