Why is my old character's name reserved in the character creation page?

Hello I was RPing in the old SA:MP LS-RP since 2008 and created an account there since around 2011 when I tried to create a character is says that this name is reserved. What does this mean and how can I claim it?

Old character names are reserved for previous owners. So it's either you're using a different UCP account or you have name changed it and someone else had it on their account so it's reserved for someone else.

So how can I claim my old name back?

You need to use the old UCP account that had the character name.
