Help.

 recently found out that the server had reopened and I decided to download samp and start playing again. Everything works fine until I pass the loading screen and come to the ''Updating models'', It loads until the 8th one and then the game just crashes.

I've tried reinstalling gta and samp multiple times.
I've changed the compatibility settings on both gta.sa and samp to windows 98, i'm also running both programs as an administrator.

Honestly I don't know what to try anymore and thought that i'd turn to this forum for some help, maybe someone else have had the same problem?

I had the same issue and I fixed it by deleting every GTA SA folder, user files, etc, everything related to GTA SA. Then I installed the game in a different folder and now it works. Also turn off your antivirus during the installation and during the SAMP installation, sometimes it detects a virus when there's none.

Deleting your gta folder and downloading it again solves that issue, it had me couple of times too.

Reinstall your GTA (in a new folder).

Do NOT add any mods to it.

Disable your antivirus/firewall.

Possibly install the cache and directly drop it inside of the appropriate folder instead of downloading it in-game.
